Justin swept Selena off her feet, taking her there immediately after they attended Demi Lovato‘s huge concert at the Nokia Theater, TMZ reports. He lead her underground via a passageway to the empty arena — and they cuddled for the movie in the huge setting!

Justin apparently got the idea after watching Adam Sandler‘s Mr. Deeds, where the title character surprises his love by pulling a similar stunt at Madison Square Garden. The Staples Center was fine to indulge Justin, since it was empty that night and he has sold it out three times. They didn’t even charge him for it!
