Selena Gomez might want to mix work with pleasure. The 18-year-old popstar took the GMA stage on June 17 and appeared to be in good spirits despite her health scare last week. Hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos jumped right in during her sit down interview in front of thousands of screaming fans and asked her point blank: “Would you work with Justin?”

“I’m not sure,” she replied. “Whenever I do songs I kind of do them organically. So if it happens it happens.”

Selena didn’t exactly nix the idea all together but at the 2011 Kids’ Choice Awards, Selena gave a firm “yes” when asked if she’d be open to working with Justin.

Selena Gomez definitely has something to smile about! The 18-year-old superstar was headed to Atlanta to see her beau Justin Bieber when she learned that her single Who Says has gone platinum — woo hoo!

“Ahhhh yay! Yay! Yay! Who Says went platinum!!! Thank you!!” she tweeted June 15. “YOU have every right to a beautiful life :)”

Selena revealed at one point the meaning behind Who Says and it makes us love her that much more!

“Twitter and Facebook are really negative for me … within that world is such easy access to people’s feelings,” she has said. “You can get a thousand wonderful comments but just one will throw you off and that’s how it is with me. Basically it’s to the haters—the people trying to bring you down.”

Now that Selena is feeling better since being hospitalized for malnourishment — she’s gearing up for the MuchMusic Video Award in Toronto June 19!

This girl really does have it all and she deserves it!

ShareSelena Gomez took the stage at Santa Monica Place today to perform two songs for all of her fans who were planning on seeing her last Friday. She had to reschedule after going to the hospital on Thursday night, and again on Saturday. “I’m fine, I was just very malnourished,” Selena told reporters before she performed her free concert. “And I was exhausted.” She was also asked about whether Justin Bieber treated her to anything nice!

An eyewitness tells HollywoodLife.com that Selena “looked very sick, but you could tell she was holding it together to keep her promise to her fans.” Our witness adds that Selena “kept smiling as much as she could to put on a brave face.” The actress is promoting Monte Carlo, and performed her singles “Who Says” and “A Year Without Rain” for her group of screaming and devoted fans.

When asked if her boyfriend Justin got her anything nice while she was in the hospital, Selena smiled and said, “I got some very loving support from all my family and friends.”  She reassured fans she’s okay adding, “I’m fine now.”

We all knew Selena Gomez was rushed to the hospital after her June 9 Tonight Show appearance due to nausea and a bad headache. We were worried when we never got any proof that she actually left the facility. Now we have good news that she was spotted out and about on June 11 — but unfortunately, she was headed back to the hospital!

Selena, 18, was seen looking QUITE distraught while walking on June 11 to receive medical treatment in Burbank. She was still wearing medical tags around her wrists. While she was there, her boyfriend Justin Bieber was in San Francisco performing in a charity show.

The extent of her illness isn’t known, as media outlets are releasing conflicting information. Us Weekly reports she was hospitalized for “food poisoning coupled with exhaustion,” while TMZ says her blood pressure is under careful watch.

HollywoodLife.com has learned exclusively Selena Gomez checked into Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calif. June 9 and still is there now.

Selena Gomez is still in the hospital nearly 24 hours after checking in and HollywoodLife.com has learned exclusively she went to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center — the same hospital where her boyfriend, Justin Bieber, was treated earlier this year.

“Selena checked in yesterday in the evening under a confidential name,” a source close to the situation tells us June 10. “She’s still here now.”

Providence hospital is located in Burbank, Calif. and is nearly in walking distance from where the 18-year-old starlet filmed The Tonight Show with Jay Leno June 9.

Coincidentally, Justin, 17, was treated at the same medical center in January when he suffered from an allergic reaction while on set at CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Unlike Justin’s brief stint in the hospital, Selena is still there getting tested.

Radio DJ JoJo Wright wrote an update on his website saying sources told him the following: “Still in hospital. Doing all the standard tests. No diagnosis yet. Just feels awful. IF she gets better over the weekend and is cleared by the doc, she wants to fulfill the Santa Monica mall performance on Monday.”

I understand Justin Bieber probably didn’t want to draw attention to Selena Gomez being rushed to the hospital after her June 9 Tonight Show appearance. But if he was not going to wish her well as he did his good friend Sean Kingston, he should have at least stayed off Twitter while she was suffering in the hospital!

Justin, 17, tweeted several times on June 10 while Selena, 18, was in the hospital, including sending birthday wishes (“we must make this trend. #HAPPYBDAYDANKANTER”), making basketball predictions (“great game yesterday. this series is going 7 games.”) and promoting charity (“spread the word. MAKE A CHANGE. #SCHOOLS4ALL . thanks-http://bit.ly/f4KpVs”).

When he FINALLY did tweet about her illness at approximately 3:40 p.m. on June 10, he simply tweeted, “#getwellselena.”

Whether or not he was sending these messages while visiting her at the hospital, it’s pretty strange that he’s able to wax philosophical on frivolous things while his lady is suffering. Either he’s not emotionally there enough for Selena or he doesn’t understand that going to the hospital is a pretty big deal. Either way, he should be taking this much more seriously, consoling her in person or at least spending time on the phone with her — we’re sure she’s pretty freaked out right about now!
